Welcome to Hyde Haven and Hyde County. 

Hyde Haven is the perfect place to stay for hunters, fishermen, kayakers, birdwatchers, outdoorsman, or vacationers.  Hyde Haven is approximately 12 miles east of Lake Mattamuskeet Wildlife Refuge, five-miles from Lake Landing Refuge, 55 minutes from Manteo or the Outer Banks, and 30 minutes from the Swan Quarter to Ocracoke Ferry.  Hyde Haven is located on Highway 264, 3 miles west of Engelhard, NC.  Engelhard is a quaint fishing and farming village that has amenties including restaurants, basic shopping needs, medical services, fresh seafood, and public boat ramps for convenient access to the Pamlico Sound.  Hope to see you soon!!

Our Place

Hyde Haven is an apartment consisting of two-bedrooms, one-bath, kitchenette, washer / dryer, and living area.  The fenced-in outdoor area is great for grilling out and provides a containment area for pets and hunting dogs.
